25 things about myself.
1. I was born in Moses Lake, Washington, 4 days after Mt. Saint Hellens
Erupted. My poor mother found her self /very/ pregnant trapped in a house
with 4 teenage boys (it was my Uncle John's Birthday) thankfully she loved
John. :)
2. I was born and raised Mormon. Please don't tell me you're sorry. I'm not.
3. I discovered Wicca/Paganism/Nature Magick in 2004 and haven't looked
back. Broken a few hearts along the way because of it, but this is who I am
and I've never been closer to the gods nor understood my spiritual side so
well as I do now.
4. I've been married 3 times and am in the middle of my 3rd divorce.
Apparently marriage isn't for me. And I'm finally ok with that. I don't need
a legal piece of paper. But maybe a hand fasting in which we commit until
our love runs out. I picture a quiet wood with a small group of close
friends and family and then camping. :)
5. I grew up in the Navy. In order, the places I've lived in my almost 30
years: Washington State; San Diego, CA; Italy; Virginia; San Antonio, TX;
Virginia; San Antonio, TX; Adak, Alaska; San Antonio, TX; Waimea, Kauai, HI
(graduated from high school and left home); Idaho; Provo, UT; Laie, Oahu,
HI; Horse Cave, KY; Provo, UT; Horse Cave, KY; Bowling Green, KY;
Murfreesboro, TN; Waimea, Kauai, HI; Laie, Oahu, HI; Woodbury, MN; Laie,
Oahu, HI; Woodbury, MN; Kapa'a, Kauai, HI; Hattiesburg, MS; Louisburg, MO;
Loveland, CO; Fort Collins, CO.
6. From 1999 to 2007 I went to 4 different universities. Brigham Young
University - Hawaii, Western Kentucky University, BYU-Hawaii, and finally
receive my English Degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. I
secretly wish I had graduated from WKU, I spent the most time there, a year
and a half.
7. I am a 'victim' of Hurricane Katrina. I spent 11 days in my boyfriend's
parents house along with the rest of his family. Thankfully this was in
Meridian, MS, an hour and a half north of Hattiesburg, MS, which is about 45
to and hour away from the coast. It came in at a 4 and left a 3 out of
Meridian, we went 3 days without power. My turtle took a nose dive of the
2nd story porch while I was trying to get him some UVs because his lamp
wasn't working (never found the body, hmmm.) And once we did get back into
town we had to have our fridge replaced due to the excess mold stink from
our rotting meat that we had just loaded up on before the storm. And to
think, we weren't gonna leave town because the Hurricanes always move in
another direction from us. :P
8. I have 2 wonderful cats that are my babies. If I lived alone I'd be the
crazy cat lady. :)
9. I secretly want to be a Marine Archaeologist and explore the coral reefs
of the world. :D
10. I believe Marijuana should be legalized.
11. I really hate checked the 'White/Caucasian' box on forms. Why should any
of that matter. And never mind that I'm an American a descendant of
Irish/Scottish/German heritage. If the option 'Other' is there, I'll choose
that, or piss people off and mark nothing.
12. I play the clarinet and own a beautiful wooden one JR bought me with his
very first credit card, in the on going attempt to build credit. The bell
has an amazing carving on it. I also still have my very first clarinet, it
was white, age has now rendered it this strange yellow color, yay plastic.
13. I'm a stamper and card maker. And a craft freak. Entering JoAnn's with
money in my pocket is bad, because I'll spend hours in there calculating how
to spend said money. Hell, I'll do that even if I'm broke. I can't get
enough of the papers and inks, pens, colors, paper, glue, the endless
projects. And don't get me started on fabrics. :)
14. In March of 2007 I was supposed to spend 3 weeks in Ireland. Passport
was in hand, tickets were bought, everything was arranged. And then I had to
move to Missouri to help take care of my mom while my father went through a
mid-life crisis (which he's still going through and may never break out of).
My graduation gift to myself and $1000 gone. I never made that trip, and I'm
unsure when I'll be able to find the money and time to do it now. My mother
is grateful for my sacrifice and so I'm not as bitter about it as I could
be. My father though, all I can say is that Karma is a bitch.
15. I'm the oldest of 3 children. I have green eyes, red hair and right
handed. My brother and sister are both blond, blue eyed and left handed...
Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it? :P
16. My first car was a 1983 Plymoth Horizon. Little 4-door grayish car with
little round side mirrors, my college roommate thought it was the cutest
thing ever! It pegged out at 90mph, I know because I spend many a day on
I-65 going well over 100, who know that car could go that fast. :)
17. I've been engaged more times than I've been married. Apparently, as a
child marriage was the one thing I had to do. At least that's how I pictured
it from what I was taught. College wasn't talked about, careers weren't
talked about, but boy was marriage. I never day dreamed about a wedding when
I was in grade school, but by high school I had information on weddings at
Walt Disney World. :D By the time I'd graduated high school I'd been engaged
twice. With my first marriage there never really was an engagement though.
18. I play World of Warcraft (aka World of Warcrack and WoW). I have been
for over 2 years now. I enjoy it. I know there is life outside my computer
and beyond gaming. But if playing WoW keeps me out of stores and spending
money I don't have, I'll pay $15 a month for that. :P I'm the girl that
recruits her boyfriend to join in the fun, and he has and has been playing
for over a year now. :) (Geeks want me.)
19. I love milk. So much so that sometimes I can't get enough of it. I crave
it from time to time. It's a sad day when we run out of milk and I can't go
to the store to get more.
20. In grade school I was the crazy kid that like to gross her friends out
by informing them that I LOVE liver and spinach. (Still do, but I'm afraid
to cook the liver.)
21. I'm a touchy feely person. I love lots of hugs and kisses. Cuddles are a
must, I think it's what keeps me connected to this world. Like an infant
child that will perish if not touched, I too will fade away.
22. I'm bi-sexual. I've been attracted to women since I was in high school,
but it never occurred to me that liking someone of the same sex was something
I could actually pursue.
23. I am crazy in love with my best friend and I don't care who knows. She's
my rock, my strength and the one that has stood by me through it all. 15
years of friendship and counting. Our bound grows stronger everyday and I
don't think I could ever leave her again. Yes, we'll be the crazy old ladies
in the nursing home, hitting on the male CNAs and enjoying our Happy. :)
24. I dream of owning a little cottage in the middle of the wood with a
babbling creek near by. I want to live surrounded by nature and its music.

25. I have danced with Green Sea Turtles in Hawaii. I long to go back.
